How to Care for Mother-of-Pearl, Spiny Oyster and other Inlay Jewelry

To maintain the shiny, lustrous appearance of your Inlay Jewelry, remove it when doing any sort of physical activity that could bring the stone in contact with hard surfaces, or could impact or damage the inlay.

Removing your Inlay Jewelry when showering, swimming, or washing your hands and avoiding exposure to lotion, chemicals or extreme temperature changes will help to keep the inlay looking beautiful.

Inlay should be cleaned gently. Inlay Jewelry can be cleaned with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Never soak or immerse in water for extended periods of time. Inlay jewelry should never be cleaned in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner and avoid exposure to bleach, chemical cleaning fluids, and salt water.
